I’m a sophomore and second semester just started; I ended last semester with a 100.44% in World Geography (There was extra credit)
I talked to my teacher saying I wanted something harder before the end of the semester… he suggested to either stay in the class or move to his AP World History class.
It turns out that my schedule wouldn’t be as affected as I thought it might of been… so is it worth the hassle to switch?
PS: Most colleges in my state prefer a full year of Geography so I’d have to take another semester of Geo eventually.
The help is appreciated ?
If you need to take the second half of geography anyway, why not stay and get it done now (or change to AP human geography if that is possible, though it is not generally considered va difficult class)? Then take AP world history next year or whenever.
I’d also suggest staying in the class. Congrats on the perfect+ grade, though!
Does your school offer AP human geography?
Are you sure your state’s public colleges require geography specifically - usually they require social science, history…but not specifically geography.
