Schedule, Tutorials, and ISPs?

How is the typical schedule at New College like? I know that each semester, there are four to five classes you can take, but how do tutorials fit in? Alot of the tutorials caught my eye, but how are they fit into your schedule?

A tutorial is equivalent to either a half course (mod) or a full course, depending on how you structure the tutorial. Tutorials can be one-on-one student and professor, or small groups. A student must sell a faculty member on sponsoring the tutorial, so the student must design the tutorial requirements, including choosing the text(s), outlining the tutorial goals, and describing the process by which the student’s efforts will be evaluated.

New College is the school I need to be in then! I think its pretty amazing that all you need to find is a professor that will sponsor a tutorial and a few interested students. I’ve often found myself studying a book or subject that is not usually has nothing to do with my school classes (Right now for example, I’ve been engrossed with Crime and Punishment). I love this place, I need to get accepted.

If you have clear goals, are self-motivated, and appreciate the challenges of academic rigor, then you will find a home at New College. :)
