Would this sophomore schedule be impressive enough for uc berkeley?

AP European History
Honors Algebra 2
French 3
Sophomore English
Art 1
AP Biology

Also would it be impressive with the same schedule but without honors math? The math department is not as good but I got a's last year in regular geometry. So should I keep honors math or drop it? I really want to get a good bio grade because that's my major interest.

Thanks a lot

is art 1 a requirement?

It’s required to have an art or drama class

Try to take the most rigorous course load available to you as a sophomore. Your schedule is looking very similar to the most difficult course load available at my school as a sophomore (public school in California), so you’re looking pretty good.

Personally, I found Algebra 2 w/ Honors (which is basically with Trigonometry second semester) more difficult than Calculus because of the relatively novel concepts you have to learn. See if you can take the class and gauge your own performance at first, and maybe see if you should drop to CP later on during the year if you believe it’s inhibiting your performance in AP Bio.

Make sure you fill the UC system’s a-g requirements in your schedule
