ok can anyone give me more info on these classes/teachers?

CH301--Sparks, S.
BIO311C--Maas, M.
PSY301---Pennebaker, J.
M408N---Gualdani, M.

Thanks (:

Are you a Psychology major? Because PSY 301 is currently restricted to psychology majors only so you may want to rethink that one if you’re not a psych major. However, if you really want to take psychology you could enroll for a FIG that includes psychology. Good luck!

I’ve heard Pennebaker is a fun teacher but grades pretty viciously. (but I wanna take him :DDD)

EDIT: tim739, wait so what about the business students that have to take psych fish year?

im in a chem FIG so i was automatically put in psych. im actually a chem major!

which fig are you in? i’m in the human ecology one and i have the same chem and psych class as you.

I’m not sure about that etceterae, maybe they restrict psychology so that all the psych/business majors have spots. I think you’ll probably just have to check at orientation when you get there.

Gualdani is a nice teacher (sometimes has an attitude) but has a thick accent and uses funky symbols such as the euro sign to stand for things. Just hope and pary you have a good TA (see if Jim “James” Delfold is TA-ing, he’s awesome) and just bust your butt!

Good Luck!

im in the Chem FIG…

and thanks! i heard shes not the greatest teacher! :/

I was a science major in the BioSphere FIG and had PSY 301 with Salinas. Anyone can take PSY 301 since its a university core req to have 3 hours of a social science, and this includes psychology.
