I'll apologize first if there's another thread on this, but I haven't found one. So, what is your schedule for the 2008-09 school year?

Just got mine today (I am a Junior) and it is as follows:
Period 1: Law (1 semester)*
Period 2: Pre-Calculus Honors
Period 3: AP US History
Period 4-6: AP English Language
Period 7-9: Physics (Lunch 7-8 on D Day)
Period 10-11: Lunch (Physics Lab 9-11 D Day)
Period 12: Study, Gym, Physics Lab (D Day)
Period 13: Theology III**
Period 14: Spanish III Honors***

*I didn't sign up for Law, but rather Psychology or Philosophy. However, Philosophy is going to be second semester and Psychology is given to seniors first-choice, and a lot take it, so there must have been a conflict. Several others in my class ended up in Law instead of their desired elective. However, the teacher is good, so it should be fine.

** In a word: Religion focusing on Catholicism. They wanted to sound smarter and are happy because they got new books.

*** Just something I find funny: This is the third year in a row that I've had Spanish 14th period. Same teacher as last year in the same room as freshman year. So many good memories...

There have been several threads... but we all love posting our schedules.

General Biology I DE (H)*

DE= Dual enrollment (H)=Weighted honors (S)=weighted standard *=Online

Oh... and we only have 4 periods each semester and APs are year-long

Which is what I WILL have if I need an injunction and a writ of mandamus darn it! Maybe a writ of detinue as well! lol

there's a theory in economics..
it relates to college admissions in a way. someone explained it to me

say there's a crowd of people at a baseball game. they're all sitting down. one person stands up to see better. then, other people stand up because the first person standing up is blocking their view. soon, everyone is standing up. but, if everyone just sat down, it would be more comfortable.

however, there's always someone who wants to stand out.

just as with AP classes/SAT scores/etc
say that everyone takes 2 AP classes. but, rest assured, one person will take 3 AP classes because they realize that they would have a better chance of being admitted into a good college. then, people start taking more.

and this never stops..there's no limit to AP classes, awards, etc..

Rising senior here, my schedule is so unbelievably easy, can't wait (although I had a bunch of stupid scheduling problems and didn't get half the classes that I signed up for):

1 - Jesuit Spirituality/FREE PERIOD!!!
2 - AP calc BC
3 - AP Engl 4
4 - AP psych
5 - AP physics B
6 - STUDY HALL!!!
7 - Sports Medicine/Senior Synthesis Essay Class

I plan to use all the free time that I'll have next year to self-study a few APs and maybe catch up on my Japanese.

Edit: @EBM, I don't think colleges really care about APs though past the whole "rigorous courseload"shtick. I'm only taking them for the free credits, lol.

IB English 11
IB Pre-Calc
IB Japanese 3
IB Businesss and Management SL
IB European History
IB Biology I
Advanced Yearbook
Theory of Knowledge(Sem. 2) - Wednesday nights ~_~
IB Extended Essay (Sem. 2)

@rmadden: Nice, graduating with the IB Diploma early. Have you tested out of any subject yet?
