So this was my junior year schedule:
AP English
AP Chemistry
AP US History
AP Calculus AB/BC (took BC test)
AP Music Theory
Honors Spanish 4
Orchestra

This is what I want my senior year schedule to be:
AP English
AP Physics
AP European History
AP Statistics
AP Spanish 5
Orchestra
Economics: mandatory :(

But AP Stats is not fitting in my schedule. I would have taken Calc 3 but it is not a practical art and i need a practical art elective, which statistics would have fulfilled. If I cannot secure an independent study in this course, what should I do? My only options are removing AP Euro, a class I'm extremely passionate about taking, or taking a class like Psychology, Sociology, or Engineering.

This Summer: I interned at a stem lab last summer and planned to the same but my researcher is currently moving and has not secured a lab yet. In case he says no, I have another option at another lab. However, does the fact that I'm jumping from one lab to another and frankly, one field to another look odd on college applications? I would have wanted to show that I was devoted to one lab for two years. But is this better than merely having a summer job at a pool or restaurant?
