Scheduling for Junior Year/Senior Year (Advice?)

I am having trouble with scheduling the rest of my high school year.
Freshman Year:
Honors Am. Lit A
Honors Am. Studies A
Algebra I A+
Honors Earth Science A+
Spanish I A+
Only allowed 8 credits a year; other 4 credits were electives that I was required to take.
Ended year with a GPA of 4.3

Sophmore Year (now):
Honors Am. Lit II B+
Honors Am Studies II A
Honors Alg 2 A+
Honors Geometry A+
Honors Bio A
Honors Chem A+
Spanish II A+
*These are averages as of now, I’m trying to being up my Lit grade but I don’t see it as a big factor in my grades. Will it being down my GPA and ranking?

Junior Year:
AP Chem
AP Stats
AP Gov/Po*
Dual-En. World History
Honors Brit I
Honors Trig
Spanish 3

Senior Year:
APUSH*
AP MicroEco
AP Lit/Comp
AP BIO
AP Calc AB
Honors Spanish 4

In my school I am required to take a gov/economic class and APUSH and AP Gov/Po both satisfy the gov part so I was considering dropping one or the other. I am thinking that the course load will be too much senior year (even though I am considering taking a study hall). I was wondering how I can rearrange my schedule to ease the course load. And should I really take APUSH? And how is AP Lit/Comp? Also I wonder if getting an A-/B+ average in one class would bring my ranking down. Is ranking really everything? My brother said I ruined my chances of getting into an Ivy bc of that.
My major in college would seem more science geared so I don’t see Lit as a huge factor?

Do you love to read? That’s what AP lit is about.
If you’re going to continue with science, to replace AP Lit by a regular English class.
Also, why dual Enrollment junior year but none senior year?
Finally, I dont see an art class - this may trip you up at some colleges.
A B+ (or two) doesn’t matter.
However, for Top 10 universities/LACs, you need much more than excellent grades in a rigorous curriculum. You need superb ECs: what are you doing for that?

First off, your brother is wrong, Ivies won’t reject you for one B (though it certainly doesn’t help).
You should ask your counselor about GPA and class rank.
The rest of your questions can be answered by asking upperclassmen (at your school) who have already taken your prospective classes. Each high school is different in rigor and I can’t help you because I don’t know how your high school is.

As mentioned above, I would take a regular English in place of Lit/Comp and possibly take AP Physics, or take AP Physics somewhere in the next two years.

I am in many clubs (not random) that I really like; Debate, Art, Drama, serve club. I am doing the sport, Track. My school offers limited clubs, I was thinking about joining Leo and book club but the environment is hostile. I want help in the EC department, what should I do?
I took 2 art classes in freshman year and a music one, I have space to take another one in senior but I was planning on taking a full year study hall.
I was thinking about taking a reg Eng, but it would be British Literature so I was planning on just going all out in senior year…my school doesn’t have AP Physics but thank you for the recommendation.
