Hey guys,
I'm currently a sophomore and I don't know whether I should take AP Euro. I'm definitely going to take AP Stats, English, and Bio. I got a B in chemistry this year which dropped my class rank to 7th. I'm not super competitive or anything, but I want to remain in my schools top ten. I'm worried that if I don't take AP Euro I'll get dropped down by other people with all As taking 4 AP classes. I'm somewhat busy with extracurriculars in the fall and winter. At my school, English and Bio are a lot or work, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle those and Euro. What do you think and/or advise?

If you are ranked 7th in your grade, I’m sure you’ll be able to handle 2 AP classes. Go for it! :)

Well the problem is if I’ll be able to handle 4 AP classes. Sorry if my post was confusing. I’m definitely taking AP Stats, AP English, and AP Bio. AP Euro I’m not so sure about

Have you taken U.S. History yet? I’m taking AP Euro next year as a senior, and I finished AP U.S. first semester of this year. If you wanted, you could push it off a year.

Also, even though you wouldn’t take as many APs, three As are better than 4 Bs. The stress might cause you to spend less time with each class.

Yeah I’m taking APUSH this year, and I don’t think I want to do Euro my senior year

Go for it if you want to, there are plenty of people I know who are taking multiple AP classes and are high ranking.

As long as you have the determination and ability to juggle 4 APs. Colleges like that stuff.
