scheduling problem

I'm coming to CMU next year. I know it's not necessary for me to do this, but I was wondering if anyone could help me because I'm having a scheduling problem. There's an overlapping class, and I'm having trouble fixing it. I'm majoring in electrical and computer egineering. The schedule is here. http://tcpulse.com/psched/short/MzQ5MDM5

Also, do the classes I'm taking look OK? I've taken a lot of programming (including a little bit of Java, although I don't remember much) and have already taken through multivariable calculus, so those 2 classes shouldn't be too hard, I think.

I think this should fix the overlapping problem:
http://tcpulse.com/psched/short/MzQ5MTIx

I think that this courseload is very manageable. In my opinion, the classes which you'll probably find most difficult in your first semester would be 21-127 (Concepts of Mathematics) and 18-100 (Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering). The rest should be very easy, especially considering you've done up to multivariable already. Interp and Argument, I think won't be hard, I'd probably find it annoying, but what can you do it's a required class so you have to take it in your first year.

Thank you so much tamirms, I'm apparently really bad at using this system!! :) Yeah, I'm not too good at English, but I wan't to get it over with. I'm glad you think it's manageable :)

yeah that scheduler doesn't work too well for architecture. On monday it scheduled classes from 9:30am to 11:30 pm, what is that?
http://tcpulse.com/psched/short/MzUwMDk4

and the cirriculum I'm going off of:
http://www.arc.cmu.edu/cmu/programs/ugrad_progs/curriculum.jsp

though i may be doing somthing wrong and scheduling like all the instances of a class? Anyone know?

also, why are some courses wider (longer up and down means a longer class, but wider?) than others?

wy can't I edit/delete stupid posts? I figured it out you guys, sorry prom was last night and I got to sleep 4 hours ago.

http://tcpulse.com/psched/short/MzUwMjU5

eh?

There's something I don't understand about this scheduler:
For example, The Heat Transfer course, 24-322, is supposed to be 3 hrs. lecture and 1hr. lab, yet the scheduler gives the following:
3 times a week there's 24-322 1, one of them 1 hr and the other 2 1.5 hrs.
once a week, 24-322 A or B or C, which lasts a whopping 3 hrs.

Overall, that adds up to 7 hours, instead of 4, so what am I not understanding? Are all the "24-322 1" classes obligatory?

There has been other examples of this, but this si the most blatant.

Thanks
