<p>My son received an invitation for this event. Will it hurt him if he cant go and how much does it help by going?</p>
<p>olemissmom, I can only speak from my ds experience. They were not able to attend Scholar’s Day. They let their college rep know. He set up a fantastic day for them a few weeks later (even saved them the Scholar’s Day Tshirts). Things worked out very well for my girls at Ole Miss…pm if you have any questions.</p>
<p>hey! i got invited too, and I don’t believe I’ll be able to go either. Is it a big deal to be invited? My parents said I can’t visit any schools until I’m accepted, and I haven’t been accepted yet. If its a really big deal, I want to go.</p>

<p>This is typical of my son’s experience, too. Ole Miss is the most personal and friendly big public university I know.</p>
<p>hpscotsgirl, don’t worry too much. Ole Miss isn’t that hard to get into; missing an event like this won’t hurt you.</p>
