What is the difference (besides the length of time) between these two event?

Also, does Penn ever provide financial assistance for accepted students to come and visit?

Thanks.

Apparently the scholars preview is a multicultural thing. Mostly minorities (race, geographic, etc.) are invited. At least that’s what I read.

Can you still request to go to the Scholar’s Preview Day? I’m Chinese-Canadian so not a minority by far but I would like the extra time in the Scholar’s Preview to merit going a the way down to Philadelphia.

Also +1 for the question about if Penn covers transportation costs. And how to get that :)

I don’t think Penn covers transportation costs. I got an invitation to scholars preview, and on the information sheet it just gives us a range of times to get there and a range of times for departure. They’ll shuttle you to campus, though. I’m not positive, but that’s how I see it.

Ah shucks well I emailed my regional director just in case. It’s a long shot but

I see that a lot of people are flying down to Philly for the Preview Days. I hope I can do that too!

nebbalish,

Let me know what they say! I think my son won’t be able to visit. He’s been to Penn once before, though.
