On the scholarship application, the resume section has space for “up to ten activites and the number of hours dedicated” as well as a space for “up to ten organizations and the number of years of involvement for each”. What is the difference between these two sections, and what activities that I’ve done should I put in each?
you might want to check with your state’s admissions officer. Get to know them, they will help you monitor your application and scholarship status also.
Activities would be on the line of community service and how much time you put in to each one. Organizations would be extracurricular ( sports and clubs) and co-curricular ( band, drama, KAYS, Stuco) etc. My son applied to Ole Miss and was accepted to their mechanical engineering.
@txcheerstudent You should have spaces for leadership (positions held), service, activities (only membership) as well as work experience. Put the activities that you’ve dedicated the most time to or would be the most distinguishing to your high school experience!
