Scholarship $ being sent directly to Rutgers

<p>My daughter was notified this weekend she has been awarded a fairly substantial local scholarship, however the organization sends it directly to the school and that won't be until after August 15. </p>

<p>Since term bills are due August 9, is there a way to hold out this amount from what we pay or will Rutgers refund it back to her or just credit it to the spring bill. </p>

<p>I'm going to call today, but wonder if anyone else had dealt with a similar situation.</p>

<p>When you click on the link to pay your bill, there’s an option in which you type in any anticipated financial aid. So subtract how much you will be receiving and just pay the balance.</p>
