I just submitted my application to Lein scholarship. The problem is, that I went the the "materials on file" page and it said I had items from other scholarships (that I do NOT plan on submitting)!

My biggest concern is that it says I submitted a letter of recommendation for the writing scholarship. I gave 3 letters of recommendation to one of my teachers to fill out. He said he mailed them off (I never saw them). I'm nervous that he somehow filled it out for the writing scholarship (which I don't see how). However, he isn't an English teacher, so it shouldn't count right?

Does the Writing scholarship have access to letters of rec from the common app or something?** Because I did get an English teacher to fill one of those out. Idk what to do, I'm freaking out here.

Bro. Chill out and talk to someone who can actually help you with your problem. Call the admissions office, explain the situation, and they will be more than happy to help you sort things out.

Ugh I hate talking on the phone…would it be inappropriate for me to email them instead? Its hard for me to hear on the phone, and I’ve been told I’m super quiet so its hard for them to hear me…

Contact them in whatever way is most comfortable for you.

Zombie- if you’re looking at schools like WUSTL, I can only assume that you are a brig person. However, I’ll give a word of advice to college bound students. Don’t always use electronic communications as a crutch. Too many kids your age can’t communicate properly because all they do is email and text. I would call the school and ask them. Best of luck.

^Brig? Also I can do face to face conversations, but my voice isn’t the best (I sound like a 2year old). Also I won’t get home in time to call them, plus I already sent the email.

Email is fine. Carefully outline your concerns. The admission rep on your pathways site (assigned by you last name) prefers emails. We asked.

Zombie- I meant to say bright. Good luck.

I emailed them, and someone fixed my problem :)
