For those of you who applied to a scholarship program, were you notified if your scholarship application was complete?

My application was submitted well before the deadline; however, despite profusely reminding my teacher(Writing Letter of Rec.), I am not positive that part was submitted before the deadline.

I had told her the deadline was January 15th, but when I checked the WUSTl website it still said they have not received my recommendation. Now when I log on it says 'The Academic Scholarship & Fellowship Programs application deadline has passed. All scholarship application materials have been sent to the faculty committees for review.'

I have the same question. I sent mine before the due date and my WUSTL pathway is giving me the same answer. I think this means they received it, though, because for the University Scholars Program, which I did not apply for, it says the deadline has passed and that they have no materials on file. This one simply says materials have been sent for review. I think that’s a good sign? But I would still like to know, too

I’m wondering this too. My transcript arrived a day late, so I don’t know if they’ll still consider my application, even though my counselor explained why it’s late.

^You could just email your admissions processor and ask. That’s what my son did. He got an answer within a few hours. Somewhere on that page, where you sign in, there’s a list of admissions processors, assigned alphabetically. Email yours … or email financial aid/scholarships. Either one should work.

My son’s processor was fast with a response! And, yes, it turned out that they did have everything … the status page just changed prior to his ability to check. (I think it changed after the deadline to submit passed. Right?)

I remember having this problem last year when I was applying, and panicked over it. It appears that the website is a bit slow with updating the application statuses, and I would say not to worry too much about it.

But of course, as mentioned by SimpleLife, if you want to be safe you should check with the admissions officers. I recall that my mom fretted over it much more than I did, and she called them. They had it.

Hope this helps, & hope to see you on campus! :]
