My essays are fairly good.

So what do you think my chances are for a considerable amount of scholarship from these universities ?

State universities usually do not give aid to international students.
Some of the schools that do offer FA:

MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Massachusetts
Harvard University in Massachusetts
Princeton University in New Jersey
Yale University in Connecticut
Dartmouth College in New Hampshire
Amherst College in Massachusetts

Stanford/William/Columbia are need aware, I believe
Not sure of others

^ these i already know. and so does anyone who has the least bit of idea about college education in u.s(NOI)
i as well as the op wanted to know about the others colleges.

I know that all major schools give good scholarships , but what about the other ones . Even if they give little scholarships , how much will it come up to ?

From my experience, publics do not give need based financial aid. However, merit scholarships are handed out to highly proficient international applicants. The amount can be up to $1000-$8000 and it is very rare and exceptional to receive the scholarship. It really isn’t that much compared to the total cost of attending the university. If you apply instate as an international to a public, you can earn full or partial scholarship if you are recognized extremely for your merits; this will not apply to you.

Why do publics don’t offer little to no financial aid to intls?
They are funded by the government; whereas, the privates receive most of their income from their alumni donations and other non-federal sources–but they too rely on some government funding. I know of privates that are willing to only give intls merit money amounting to $9000 per year where their tuition and boarding is 60k per year.
