<p>lgellar, it is unfortunate that everyone can’t be eligible, but there are a lot of students with a household income less than $100K, including myself. However, I do hear your pain. If I come across any scholarships like this without an income level, I’ll let you know.</p>

<p>Larry - I had wanted the scholarship to be open to all, and it more likely would have been, but this move was motivated largely to limit the number of applications to a more manageable level because it was unclear how many entries there would be. Setting the income level to 100,000 or less allows about 85% of US households to be eligible, so I think thats not such a bad compromise.
