<p>For what it is worth - our son did apply (last night) and all of the SAT’s etc have been sent. </p>
<p>I did manage to get ahold of the scholarship office via the online chat and was told that the drop dead date for scholarships was Dec 4th, however we could still apply and “see if anything happens”…which we will do. No promises, but they might be a glimmer of hope…</p>
<p>They can’t promise anything at this point, but if a student is desirable as your son is, I think they will come thru with a scholarship offer in the spring if not before. </p>
<p>Make sure you get scores and transcripts sent ASAP. </p>
<p>As soon as you get the follow-up email, do the scholarship offer.</p>
<p>After the scholarship app is submitted, I would have my kid send some kind of polite note to Carolyn Rogers in Scholarships, apologizing for the lateness of the application, and include some kind of mention of stats and interest in UA. She is the big wig there; she would have the final say about a scholarship.</p>
