<p>I decided to tackle my scholarship search in an organized manner. I created a spreadsheet on excel with a numerical count, scholarship name, amount, due date, specification (in state only, national, ect.), status (deadline passed, not started, waiting to update, completed, ect.), contact email, contact phone number, and website link. I then put it in order by deadline. Its been a great help. </p>

<p>I had more scholarships on my spreadsheet than this (136 total), but i've been given a full ride to Bowling Green State University.</p>
<p>I am also looking for scholarships and have applied to about 10. Is there any others that you recommend?</p>
<p>Do you know when you are notified if you won Kohl’s Care? I was nominated sometime in the last month before the deadline but haven’t really thought about it since then.</p>

<p>They stopped doing the Best Buy scholarship this year, sadly.</p>

<p>Guys leader girl hasn’t really posted since 2012. Any scholarship website lists the major scholarships. Locally guidance counselor probably has the info for those in your area. The big ones are discussed on here. Google your area followed by scholarships. Lots will pop up but you need to choose which fit you. There are lots of bank scholarships. If bank abc is in your area google their name followed by scholarship or check their website under community. Fewer people apply for those because they are local. Good luck.</p>
