I got my FAFSA letter from rutgers a few days ago but it didn't say anything about scholarship. Does that mean I definitely didn't get any scholarship or does scholarship notification come separately?

I am wondering too, I received my FinAid letter, but I want to see if I received a scholarship too, as that can help make my decision for Rutgers easier (Either that or Brookdale). I believe it is different, but does anyone know when we will hear back?

I received my merit scholarship letter some time ago. I don’t qualify for need based aid but, had to fill out the FAFSA anyway. Rutgers then calculated the ‘need’ amount and I received a letter at the end of last week. In the letter, the merit-based was listed, the bloustein amount (some NJ state scholarship) and the federal direct unsubsidized loan that I could take out.

I am a NJ resident. Not sure if this is different for out of state.

I enrolled in Rutgers two weeks ago for the Fall '09 semester.

Good luck!

you guys are entering as freshman?

just a quick question for the op. how long ago did you do your fafsa? i think i did mine about a week ago and i haven’t heard back from rutgers

I did my fafsa back in Late January, and I’m still waiting for the letter.

I did mine like a month ago.

I did mine a month ago. just heard back today saying there was a mistake and I have to resubmit it.

When should we hear about scholarship info?

I asked a couple of my friends and they said that they had already received their scholarship info but not their FAFSA info yet. I think that scholarship info is alrdy sent out by now if you didn’t hear anything yet then you didn’t get anything.

actually i just got my scholarship info today and i submitted my fafsa stuff last week. I called the finaid office and they told me that theyre gonna input all the fafsa information on the 15th and said to wait 3 or 4 weeks.

i got 5500 in loans, but it didnt say anything about scholarships…i’d really like to know about this, i dont want to pay full price!

scholarship info is sent out first, then fafsa. you should have heard by now about scholarships.

damn =[ this sucks haha
