Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a search engine/site that would show scholarships by the state or local level. Would my guidance counselor have a comprehensive list as well? I live in MA if that helps.
Thanks!

Ask your GC. Also check your high school’s website for a list, or a list of recent winners.
For state level you can google those.
Check to see if your state has a college preparedness web site. For example, North Carolina has www.cfnc.org, which lists scholarships available to NC students planning to attend NC colleges. Local your best bet is to check with your GC, and if that’s not helpful, you can google organizations nearby (check your local chamber of commerce) or check some of the top high schools in the area and see if their school has a list on their web site.
Here is one for merit aid: https://www.meritaid.com/, showing merit scholarships available in each college in a particular state. Be sure you go to the actual school websites referenced and update the information.
Also, as suggested above, talk with your school’s guidance counselors.
Thank you everyone!
