Scholarship opportunities

Hey guys . Do you guys know of any random scholarships out there I am trying to look for a way to pay college. I wont be eligible for the Pel grant or anything like that so I need other scholarships

If you’re looking for scholarships to pay for college, then you need to look at the SCHOOLs that will give you them for your stats. Those will be for all four years.

If you look around for “random” private scholarships, those won’t work because those are mostly only for freshman year…they how would you pay for the other years?

What state are you in?

what are your stats?

ok I understand but is there scholarships that do not require high ACT that I can get from somewhere else than the college itself because the college I want to go to only gives scholarships to those with a 30+ ACT

You have two choices:

(1) Retake the ACT (or SAT) and raise your score.

(2) Find a different college to “want to go to” where your current ACT score is above average for that school, and where you’d qualify for competitive merit awards.

If you need merit aid to pay for school, then you have to find schools where you’ll be able to get merit aid. Just because you “want” School X doesn’t mean you can attend School X. As stated above, outside scholarships generally never cover more than the first year of school . . . so unless your plan is to attend college for one year only, and then drop out, you need to come up with a different plan.

But since you don’t want to hear that, just go to Fastweb (or wherever) and apply for whatever scholarships you want!
