Scholarships

Does anybody know where to apply for scholarships?

Ask your school counselors, they should have tons of scholarships available

If you need scholarships to attend school, then you need to apply to the SCHOOLS that award them to students with YOUR stats.

Applying to a bunch of private scholarships won’t likely help. Those mostly are only one year awards for freshman year only. How would you pay for the other three years? Plus those private ones are usually for small amounts and hard to get. They’re ok to get if you already have your college costs paid for.

Interesting…

I suggest applying for institutional scholarships along with minority scholarship (if you are a minority), the big name scholarships, and local scholarships. Cast a wide net.

I second the “ask your guidance counselors”. They have information on not only scholarships that are open to the public but scholarships that aren’t open to the public.

Do you need scholarships to cover the tuition or just room & board etc.? It depends upon what you need to cover. If you are looking for something to cover your tuition, the best bet is to apply to schools that give full tuition scholarships? All scholarship awards add up but if you need a big chunk of money – you need to cast a wide net of schools.
