Scholarship & Work Study

So I just recently received a 1k scholarship, so I was wondering what will be reduced first by the FA, scholarship or work study? From what I heard, work study tends to be the first in line, then loans.

However, I also heard that you can convert subsidized loans to work study. So technically, even if they lower my work study, I can still convert my subsidized loans to work study so that it will cover up the reduced portion from the scholarship?

I'm mainly asking this b/c I do want to get full work study with little loans as possible.

Thanks!

Yes, subsidized loans can be converted to work study.

Is the converting process easy (as long as you don’t max out)? Or do you need to really convince the FA office that you need the conversion…

you can just do it online with mouse-clicking

Oh wow, that is easy. Thanks the responses guys :D! Really helped =)!
