I am an American and I think I have a pretty decent shot at being admitted 3.85 UW gpa w/honors + IB classes, 2250 SAT, low 700/hi 600 SAT 2's

do I have a shot at scholarship?

I have great awards + ECs so I think I'd have a chance at the big scholarship but I know you first need to get the small one to qualify

I’m American and I got the smallest scholarship amount (3000 CAD) with a 33 on the ACT, a bunch of AP classes and tests, and a 4.7 GPA (probably about 3.8 or 3.9 UW). So you probably have a pretty good shot for at least getting a small scholarship.

I got the scholarship without them considering ECs or awards or anything. I didn’t fill out the major scholarship application so I don’t know if they would ask for those things. They must’ve given me the scholarship just based it upon my application to be admitted, in which they only ask for numbers.

You can apply, but it’s unlikely you’ll get a scholarship.

These are the current minima for US students:
- A/93%/3.9 GPA or equivalent over last two years
- rank in top 1-2% of class
- minimum 700 in each SAT or 33 ACT

Even if you meet the minima, it’s not automatic. It’s just the least you can have to possibly qualify.
