What in the way of scholarships and aid does Rose offer if planing on studying chemE?

I hope a lot!

anyone have any info on this topic?

I don't know very much about financial aid at Rose, because I didn't qualify.

However, I am on an academic scholarship. I got $14,000 per year due to high school grades/SAT scores. Someone down the hall from me got full tuition and maybe room and board (not sure about that one) to go here. But he also got accepted to MIT with some scholarship, so be sure to take that into account.

The general consensus around here is that Rose doesn't give out enough merit or financial aid. Many students do work-study to help pay off costs, and many (like myself) are taking out student loans. When you think about it, you're going to be getting around $50,000 / yr. when you graduate from Rose, so some loans aren't going to kill you.

Be sure to APPLY EARLY! I think that showing interest is quite important.
