Do scholarships still exist for those who have near-perfect scores but not the GPA to match? If anyone has a lead on colleges anywhere in US for money based on scores please let me know. DD does have APs, activities, lettered in band, etc. but GPA is sad.
What is her weighted GPA in all classes? What are her test scores?
Weighted GPA 3.7, but doesn’t seem like anyone is looked at weighted any more. ACT 32 from last year, but feels like she can do much better. PSAT was 216 so she’ll be commended but not NMSF.
Most merit awards we looked at for 2015d used weighted if that’s what the school put on the transcript.
Not sure how current this list is, but it can give you somewhere to start. (I know the Temple info is outdated.)

I think your DD would get full tuition (or close) at places like Bama, Ole Miss. Also look at UT-Dallas.
Quite a few schools have modest automatic scholarships at certain great score/good GPA levels. You’ll just need to start poking around schools that DD is interested in that more or less fit your budget. Also look at the non-flagship schools in your own state if your flagship isn’t giving out money.
Lol…I thought the GPA was going to be something like a 2.5!
I would retest because who knows if schools will raise their thresholds to 33+
Right now, she would get FREE tuition to Alabama with current stats…however, we never know if Bama might raise the req’t for next year’s applicants (will find out around July). Bama has had its 32 threshold for many years now.
Bama is the highest ranked school that gives assured merit for those stats, including the weighted GPA.
What is her major and career goal??
