scholarships.com???

Hi everybody,

So I was recommended to join scholarships.com. Has anybody else done this? How is it? Also it asks for my sat and act scores as well as GPA. Will that be sent out anywhere? Will others see it? Is it a bad idea to put it in if I will retake the SAT for a better score? Can I change the info later?

I am just a bit worrited that I can making info that I would like to keep private public.

Thanks,

no, they just use ur sat n gpa to help u find scholarships that fit u.
chill, nothing is going to happen to u.

just beware of scholarship search sites that ask u for ur credit card # and social security #. watch out for scams.

hahaha thanks, I am laughing cause I love those scams. I was at my friend's house the other day when he got an offer in the mail that said he could be in some made up honor society if he paid 45 dollars. I hate those things

Thanks again,

Mike

Mike1717- I may have gotten the same thing as you! Did it say that it was like a National Honor Society that had supporting members such as Aretha Franklin and other Celebrities?

Sorry, the same offer as your friend, and I was wondering if it was really a scam because they said you could have a fee waiver.

Yeah it's a scam. There was a thread about this recently. I think this is the link:

I got that damn who's who bs also, didn't fill it in either, I didn't think it was fake though, just not worthy of me filling it out etc.
