Does receiving the presidential scholarship/other large scholarship at a college mean you’re out of the running for their BS/MD program? I’ve heard that rumor and wanted to confirm/refute. I’ve heard that since you applied to these schools’ accelerated medical programs, they already know you want to go there and will choose go there regardless of whether you receive a scholarship or not.
No…that is not right…I did get presidential scholorship in few colleges last year and still got interview notifications from med schools and I joined in one of them. So don’t think that getting presidential mean that you will not get interview from that college. Good luck!
