Scholarships for internationals

Hi! I'm an Indian student accepted to UIUC. My question is, how much of merit scholarship money can I expect to get from the university?

I know that every student is automatically considered for merit scholarships on application. I do not qualify for need-based scholarships, but have completed the separate scholarship application for outside scholarships. I'm a James scholar and have a good GPA.

I assume you mean you were accepted in Feb to start freshman year in August 2013. If so, the university has already provided all scholarship information to incoming students and that usually includes any coming from the possible third party providers. Unfortunately, unless notification was lost in the mail, if you have not yet been notified, you likely have not been awarded any.

Huh? But I received an email from my college (ACES) saying the scholarship committee would notify us about scholarship decisions in late July…

Edit: And yeah, I was accepted for Fall 2013 entry.

Yes, for ACES there are a number of outside donor/organization scholarships that are awarded shortly before the year begins. Notification is likely in July potentially any part of the month but likely toward the end.

Hmm, so I assume there are no scholarships from the college itself and all of them are outside funded? Thanks.
