I have a HS Junior student who is physically disabled but an excellent student. Are there special scholarship programs for the disabled?

I don’t know of any that are specifically for the disabled (but there may be some related to his particular disability)…however, since you say that he’s an excellent student, there are likely scholarships simply based on his stats without consideration of disability.

These merit scholarships are mostly awarded by the colleges themselves.

What is his GPA?

What are his SAT and ACT scores?

What is his likely major?

What is your home state?

Can he go “away” to college, or must he be in a certain geographical location? If so, what’s the distance limit?

How much can his family contribute towards college? (how much scholarship money is desired?)?

cllgeadvice - How is your child physically disabled? There are different scholarships available for specific conditions too. 180 Medical has a scholarship program for those with spina bifida, spinal cord injuries, or transverse myelitis.
