<p>Hi everyone! I'm from India and I have been a Florida resident for the past 10 years as a dependent (h4 visa) under my father (who has an h1 visa).
I have been awarded a scholarship from Bright Futures but cannot receive any money since I do not have a SSN.
Without a SSN, I can't make a FAFSA and hence can't receive any scholarships at all.
I find this very unfair since I have been brought up here and we have been paying taxes every year.
Are there any scholarships at all that a student on H4 Visa can receive? Please help!</p>
