Scholarships/grants for International Studies?

Hello Everyone!

This is my first ever post to the Forum so any information/advice is greatly appreciated :relaxed:

OK, so…I am currently a US citizen, and I am interested in applying for a grad school program in Paris. It’s a one-year MBA program in my field, and I really think it will help me achieve my professional and personal goals and a spot on the proverbial corporate ladder (yikes!). It’s unique and just what I need to be competitive in the workplace.

I have not applied just yet but have been in talks with Admissions who pretty much said that I would be accepted based on my professional and academic history. The only issue is this: the program does not offer scholarships. As mentioned, it’s only a one-year program, and the costs are not prohibitively high, but I would like to know if any of you have information about programs that I can apply for to help manage the costs…scholarships, grants, etc. I am basically just starting my research now and thought I would start here. Because it’s a Parisian school and I am a US citizen, I am not entirely sure where to look.

I have some money saved up but between schooling and personal expenses for 12 months, these costs will add up quickly. I plan to work while studying (if possible) but most likely this income will cover basic day-to-day expenses. If accepted, I am not opposed to deferring admission for another year so that I can save more money.

If anyone has any information please don’t hesitate to shoot it my way. I just want to be happy in my professional life (who doesn’t?), and this is my attempt!

Thank you kindly :relaxed:

Do you have a work permit which will allow you to get a job in France while you are there? (dual EU citizenship?) If not, forget about getting a job.

what’s so special about this program?

I doubt you’d be allowed to work. Countries tend to restrict people who don’t have work visas from working there. You would have an education visa, but that will only be granted if you show that you have fulll funds in an acct for school. They don’t want students showing up, running out of money, and then have no funds/means to get back home. Their jobs are for their residents.
