Scholarships of CofC

*guess it should be at CofC, lol

Hi, how hard is it to get a decent scholarship if you are OOS? Is it like South Carolina, if you get a scholarship, even if it is just 1k, you automatically get IN-state tuition rates, the minus 1k off of that. Or is that just a USC thing? Does CofC give out tuition waivers?

I'm not sure what stats I'll end up with, but it should look something like this:
OOS male, Ohio
GPA 3.75-3.85(4.2-4.3W), top 10%
ACT:30-32
SAT:1300-1430
EC's: Eagle Scout, Model UN, nothing too huge

A little bit of a variable w/ the standardized tests, but I know I can get at least a 30 on the ACT, but I'm going to keep working on them. Do you think I'd have a shot at a full scholarship?

Thanks

Bump, GPA should stay above 3.8UW, but hey who knows.

You never know! I have about the same stats as you, and I got 16000. Not a full scholarship, but good :)

my daughter was accepted last year with similar gpa and a 33 act and was also offered $16,000 a year with an invitation in to the Honor's College.

So are there no OOS tuition waivers at CofC like there are at Clemson? Also, does anyone know the average stats for the 16,000 scholarship?

I’d like to know too.
