hello. are there scholarships for current college students that has a large number recipients (>20). im trying to narrow down my scholarship choices. i don't want to do a bunch of essay contests that only has one winner for 1000 dollars. unfortunately, most of the ones i found online are things of that nature. can you guys help me out? thanks.

The only ones I know of are for military dependents (like myself!) such as the Maj Gen James Ursano Scholarship, which gives money (amonts differ yearly: I got $2,600 the first year, and for this upcoming year $1,050) to 95% of the applicants that apply.

But this may not be any help to you if neither of your parents is/was in the military. :

Remember the easier the scholarship is, the more people apply for it. If you actually do the math in terms of how much you make for your work on those essays, it's a very favorable ratio.
