<p>I’m not really sure what qualifies honestly. I’m top 5% of my class, in state, slightly above median income “middle class”, pretty competitive but not insane public school.</p>
<p>I got into McCombs with two scholarships (top ten percent and one called the August Kunz scholarship? whatever that is… no idea how that happened lol) and really great grants. My total for freshman year is about 11k which is amazing. Most of my friends got similar to me (some even more!). </p>
<p>So while UT is famous for giving little money, it IS possible to get money and afford it. None of us were super outstanding necessarily (valedictorian, national merit finalist, national champ in so and so meaning outstanding lol)</p>
