"No, Pton doesnt have an agreement with Smith. Pton doesnt offer the guarantee to its own students."

Neither does Dartmouth, Tufts, Notre Dame, JHU, or the University of Michigan. Only to Smithies. (I'll find the press release when I get a chance.)

Dont waste your time Mini. Call dawn Scaparotti, the asst director of the engineering dept, and shell inform you Im correct.

Dawn is a Smith alumna and a fantastic resource for prospective engineering students.

Think about it for a second, if Princeton was in fact part of the consortium one has to assume Smith would have Princeton listed on the website.

Thats not to say at some point in the past there wasnt a press release contrary to present arrangements. :)

I am Smith's to lose. In other words, if I like the Open Campus I am totally ready to enroll. I just have to make sure I like the idea of an all-women's college in practice as well as I do in theory.
Dawn Scaparotti sounds like someone I should know. Do you know her e-mail RLT? I'd call but I'm never home during business hours.

You bet. dscaparo@email.smith.edu/email 585- 7000 Dawns office is located on the 3rd floor, 51 college Ln Please spend some time talking to her. You would be doing yourself a serious disservice if you didnt.
And as I said, Dawn is a Smith alumna, so she can speak about innumerable subjects regarding Smith outside of the engineering dept.
If I can be of any help, please feel free to PM me any time.
