According to the chart I qualify for Provost’s Scholars but does this mean I’m guarenteed it? Does this mean I’m also guarenteed to get into the honors college or do scholarship recipients also have to go through a holistic selection.
I was looking for schools that would be afordable and if this is the case then Temple is perfect. Any info would be appreciated.
If you’re stats qualify for provost scholarships, you are automatically given it. I would watch out for GPA because if you’re school weighs it, just know that Temple weighs according to their own formula which tends to give a less drastic bump.
Yes you will automatically get into the honor’s college if given the provost’s or higher and sometimes lower! My friend received the Founder’s scholarship but her GPA was high so she got into honors anyway.
I hope you choose temple! Good luck with applications next year!
scholarships so far have been automatic. you qualify for the scholarship in which both your gpa and test score exceed the minimum amounts.
the point on Temple weighting is a good one. also, as you have likely noted, they only or at least they used to only use core courses. Those are started on the sheet you posted.
