Scholarships?

Can anyone tell me what scholarships I may qualify for? I looked at the website but I didn't find any statistics/qualifications for scholarships.

3.6 GPA/30 ACT/From Nebraska.

You qualify for the Alonzo, Dean's, and Presidential scholarships. When you receive your admissions decision (which you should certainly be in), you will likely receive an invitation for at least one of these. I'm guessing you'll be in consideration for the Dean's, which has a scholarship weekend in March that you will need to attend in order to get it. The Alonzo you might also get, which includes a computer and does not have a scholarship weekend.

Rollins is fairly generous with merit aid, and it's certainly a plus that you are from a geographically diverse state such as Nebraska. I'm not sure if anyone from there attends here as most are from the east coast.

Here is a website detailing the various merit scholarships:

<a href="http://www.rollins.edu/finaid/documents/ScholarshipBrochure_000.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.rollins.edu/finaid/documents/ScholarshipBrochure_000.pdf</a></p>

that link is for 2007-2008 scholarships.....will the qualifications be the same or based on the qualifications of applicants? Also, will they begin using the SAT scores from the 2400 scale this year or stick with the 1600 scale? It seems most schools are using the 2400 scale for the class of '08.

I'm not sure to be honest. I know FL state schools only look at the 1600 scale and don't even consider SAT II scores, but since Rollins is a private school it might be different.

I'm imagining they won't change the qualifications too drastically though.

i have a 1200 and 4.44 with some really unique community service/leadership. what do you i think i'll qualify for?

bretjohnson, I thought you were going to Santa Clara? Rollins and SCU are pretty far apart!

S received acceptance letter last week along with scholarship letter totaling 52K over 4 years plus new laptop. Scholarships were outlined as Presidential and Centennial. Based upon scholarship link it appears his SAT and GPA possibly will qualify him for additional $, but that was not in letter.

Twin sister has not received letter of any type yet-has slightly higher GPA and SAT >1300 so I will post what letter offers if/when it arrives. Good luck to everyone!

hey, if i havn't gotten any invitations for scholarships in my acceptance package, am I still able to receive one ? Or is there any other way to get fin aid. ( familiy income higher tier but sibling is in expensive art academy, US citizen living abroad )
thanks, and congrats to everyone who got accepted!
