Drexel automatically reviews all applications submitted before a deadline (sometime in January). A lot of people are awarded scholarships based on academic merit. You can also apply for FAFSA in January.

Yeah, I found out when I recieved my letter in the mail. They mention scholarship money (if you got it) towards the end of the letter.

Then I guess I didn’t get scholarship lol. Oh wells.
I’m still waiting for my FAFSA.
Thank you for your answers!

But did you guys apply for scholarship? Or it just came with?

I didn’t apply for a scholarship.
I will say, though, that I don’t believe my scholarship letter came until a few weeks after I got my acceptance because I finished my application pretty early and got accepted within a week of sending the last part of my application in. Others got their scholarship with their acceptance. I’m not exactly sure why that is, but it may have changed from last year.
Also, if you get an alumnus to sponsor you I believe you get another $1000 off your total college bill as well as an automatic $1000 just for submitting FAFSA, even if you don’t qualify for additional aid. I recommend you speak with the financial aid office if you have questions about your aid.

As I recall, there is a box in the application to check if you want to be considered for scholarship. No separate application. Son’s acceptance letter came today with scholarship.

Does anyone know whether the fact that I’m receiving a Dean’s Scholars scholarship disqualify me from receiving other Drexel scholarships, like the AJ Drexel or Presidential?
I really hope not. $13k ceases to seem like a whole lot of money when held up to Drexel’s tuition.
