<p>I'm entering a senior portfolio for Scholastic Art and Writing, and I just wondered if anyone knew whether poems have to be grouped as "collections" the way they are when you submit them individually.</p>

<p>I don’t know the answer to your question, but I bet someone on the “visual arts and film major” area would. Why don’t you try posting there? This competition has been discussed there by others.</p>
<p>Good luck to you. I don’t know the answer to your question, but my daughter won a Silver Portfolio Writing award a few years ago with a robust collection of strong short stories. Her best friend won the Gold Award. We heard other winners read samples of their work at the Bryant Park Winners Reading and it is probably some of the best writing I’ve ever encountered.
