I am currently at a college that doesn't offer all of the required courses for Veterinary School. My school doesn't have a pre-vet advisor so I only have a pre-med advisor to work with. It was suggested that I take these classes at another college. If I do this will I need to pay for it at the other college and how would I go about doing this... since I wouldn't actually be applying to transfer to the school but just take a few classes. Any input is helpful. Thanks!!

eep1237,
My daughter is in the same boat. There is an animal nutrition course she’ll need that is not offered at her university, so she will either be taking it on campus elsewhere or as an online course. Online courses are wonderfully convenient in cases like this! Just verify that whatever school you choose will be acceptable for transfer credits at your current school.

My D is taking org chemistry I & II at a local college when she comes home this summer to get it out of the way and free up some space for additional science classes in coming semesters. She had to apply at the local school - sending transcripts, ACT scores, the whole shebang - but she will only be taking the two courses. Again - make sure the credits will transfer - D did and hers will.

And yes, you’ll have to cover the cost of the classes you take elsewhere. Scholarships and fin aid set up at your full time school will not transfer.
