School Forms Late

Since my school is closed, they will most likely not be able to send the school forms until after the RD deadline. Is this a big deal? I heard that Brown was really strict about deadlines.

If it comes a day or two later, it will be ok right? I tried calling Brown but they’re closed at the moment.

I don’t know where you heard Brown was strict about deadlines. For ED, they would accept whatever whenever. Really accommodating actually.

I had the same issue. I e-mailed them, and they were extremely kind about it. They pretty much said, “It’s actually really rare for school officials to get their forms in on time. Just get them to us when you can. Don’t worry about it at all.”

Alright, thanks to both of you!

They’re accommodating when it comes to school forms and things like that. Not so much with your application. They realize that schools have to get all the forms in by the deadline and it can often be difficult.

Ditto re Bruno14. The most important deadline is yours. I would even go so far as to recommend that you don’t turn in any application at midnight of the due date for any school you really want to attend. However, the schools are notorious at getting some parts of the applications in late. Just do check your status periodically, as sometimes a school thinks they sent it all in, and something is still missing that you will need to ask about.
