I’m a current transfer applicant and I was checking one of my admissions portals today (Tufts) and it lists them as having received all my SAT scores, including my most recent one (2/20). When I check the collegeboard website, it says “the order placed on march 11th is pending” for all of my orders placed on that date. None of my other schools seem to have gotten my scores yet. Why is it that Tufts got my scores despite the collegeboard saying they’re pending? I’m fairly glad about it, it just seems weird.
Likely nothing weird. For most colleges, the method that CB has these days for sending scores is to deposit the test scores into an online account that the college has with CB, which it sounds like CB has already done. Thereafter. the college needs to go into the account, download the scores and then match them to the respective application files so that you can see online that the test has been received. Depending on college, the time between CB’s putting the scores into the online account and receipt being shown in your online application file can range anywhere from one day (likely Tufts) to two weeks.
