<p>The portfolio is a recent addition to admissions criterea, so it probably isn't weighted that heavily. However, to be sure, call the admissions department. There is a bunch of time spent in studio, and not very much time spent sleeping. I talked to four ex-archies last night, and the general consensus was that they didn't like architecture enough for it to be worth the time commitment and very rigid 5 year schedule, followed by not making all that much money.</p>
