Is the school of business a good school for marketing?
Marist has a great business school! We have been awarded many honors, and in my opinion it is partly due to the small class sizes and the professors! It is a lot of hands on work and working with real companies in people, usually in the Hudson valley area. My friend is taking a retail advertising class where she and her partner are working with a small business owner form the area to create a advertising schedule to help get the brand more traffic on their website. There is a lot of real world experiences which help to show the student what they will be doing after college!
Marist has an AACSB internationally accredited School of Management, which is an honor only a few schools have! Students benefit from taking classes in different fields of business and then take their major concentration classes as they get older. I think Marist really prepares students well for the business world and the faculty helps tremendously with assisting students!
