Top 10 out of 1447 in CA. Don't wanna give away the specific school, but this is alot higher than I thought especially considering our decline in US News. wow Cryto you go to MV? I live close by! Small world, got lots of friends there!

Old school: ranks 31st of 306 Virginia public high schools.
New School: District ranks 35th of 152 Oregon school districts.

ranks 330th of 355 New Jersey public high schools.
ranks 585th of 604 New Jersey school districts.

LOL. Love my school.

1st out of 716 Ohio high schools.

However, my district is 540th of 770 Ohio school districts.
Does anyone know if this list has private schools? Because there is one school here that some consider to be better than mine. It doesn't really matter in terms of my education though becayse it's all boys (I'm female).

22/355 in NJ. Interesting since we are 2nd on Newsweek rankings, but not interesting because there are so many dumb people in my school.

14/604 districts in NJ.

This is complete BS... This is the type of **** that is throwing the California education system to the **** cesspool it is in right now. "Screw education, teach them the ****ing TEST!!!"

"Rank is determined by adding each school's average CST Algebra I score with the average CST English-Language Arts Standards score to form a combined average score."

Basically they added two subsections of the California State Standards test to get an average. Nothing else in consideration. No wonder that Asian standardized test grind suburban Whitney High is ranked number one on the list.

Let's rank colleges based on SAT average too. I'm sure we'll have an accurate picture of things.

Lol yeah I noticed, mine was pretty decently high on the CA list, it wasn't bad.

And WHITNEY LOL I have a couple friends that go there..that's the asian-nerdy school.

82/1447 out of california public schools

636th of 811 New York public high schools.

Look at the demographics

loll mine is 969/1200ish

it's so ghetto =[

96 of 306 in Virginia

133rd out of 1447 in California

Pretty good for a public school where 21% are in free lunch program due to financial conditions.

"[School] ranks 2nd out of 687 Michigan public schools."

Just like I've always been told...

"[District] ranks 546th out of 649 Michigan school districts."

Ahahahaha...

71/249 in maryland

I'd share, but I find the numbers pointless.

My school does well because the students on the bottom are not really that bad, and they mostly pass the state tests. But the school does nothing to help the students on the top. There are no AP/IB/honors anything. There is a GAT program on paper, but it doesn't exist in reality. So the rankings still don't represent the whole issue, but this does look better than Newsweek.

_ High School ranks 498th of 1287 Texas public high schools.

_ Independent School District ranks 462nd of 1036 Texas school districts.

mmmmmm fruit in @ ccccup eea$d %#. tofdzrq

288 out of 687 Michigan public schools. ^^

LOL @ them ranking the local IB magnet school lower than the local crappy public school

High School ranks 290th of 608 Pennsylvania public high schools.
School District ranks 298th of 571 Pennsylvania school districts.

And im pretty amazed at those stats b/c a fifth of the students are on the reduced lunch program (and lunches here only cost 1.85 to begin with) and out of what we thought was only 502 school districts, we rank last for spending per student

huh...

Does anyone have more than 41% on reduced lunch?
