What are the pros and cons of going to a school with a lot of school spirit?
I would like to go to a college with a lot of school spirit, where the stadium is packed on game day, but not so spirited where it has an effect as to how I spend my time...
Can you all suggest schools like that for me?
(just a side note, if you needs stats, just assume that I am looking at T50 schools)

University of Miami.

I go to an SEC school ranked number 10 right now (GO *****!) Anyways, the stadium is packed every game and people watch away games every Saturday as well, but it definitely doesn’t effect how I spend my time other than the fact that I watch football games on Saturdays.

I’m not really sure what you mean by how it affects your time… Basically, if you go to a school with school spirit, your Saturdays are going to be taken up by football games if you want to go to them, if not, then there’s no problem.

If you can get in, Umich

Penn State Game day nuff said.

I mean Michigan’s pretty perfect for that. There’s 110+ thousand people at every football game and people are always wearing Michigan gear but at the same time there’s a ton of people that don’t really care and spend their time on other things. It’s getting a lot harder to get into though.

point your finger to one of the top 25 in the football BCS rankings and you’ll find plenty of school spirit.

…why are you looking for school spirit as oppose to other things?
