It's been awhile since I've posted on the forums, but I'm a sophomore in an college prep school now, and I would like to become a doctor.

These are the classes that I'm currently taking:
Music Major 2
Algebra 2
Honors English 2
Chemistry
Block: Health 2, Music Ap, Theater Arts, Info Tech
Theology
Spanish 2

*A 96-100 / A- 95-93 / B+ 92-90 / B 90-88
I finished freshmen year with A's for Math, where I had a B+, so that came out to a 3.87.
My first quarter report card was straight A's except for two A-'s in Chem and Algebra 2, and a B+ in Spanish.

And...well, the main thing that spurred me to come back here is because I just got a bad grade on a Math test today. It kind of shook me up badly, and so I hope that writing this and reading the replies will help me relax. Last year it was biology, and basically I feel that there's always something to stress about, but I just felt awful. I'm hoping that everything will turn out alright.

Um. Right now I would like to go to John Hopkins, Princeton, Colombia, or Boston College. I don't really know much about colleges except for the top schools and the handful of other names I hear now and then that seem to be good for Medicine.

Also, here are some extracurriculars that I do:
Tennis: 2nd varsity doubles
Orchestra: Violin (I also play saxophone and piano)
Newspaper, Yearbook
CSC/Community Service Corps Officer
VP of homeroom for 2nd year
Mathaletes
Lacrosse last year, and hopefully this year
I like running as well.

If anyone has any other details about the schools that I mentioned, or any other schools, or any advice/tips about relaxation or getting into a good college, I would be glad. Even stories about your high school years that you might feel would be relevent to my situation. Thank you.
