School Suspensions - Ivy League chances??

So I was a complete idiot during my freshman year (in a high school in another country) and I received two 3-day suspensions for getting in fights... how significantly will this affect my chances? I plan on EAing to Stanford and RD to Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, and MIT.

p.s. I transferred to another school due to immigration issues and the suspensions might not even be on my record at all... should I not even check disciplinary action on the common app?

Quick Stats:
GPA: 90.08
SAT: 2250 Single sitting
790 Math Level 2, 750 Bio E; USH pending
Decent ECs and recs

Best advice is to see if these infractions actually made it on your transcript. You should be able to get an official copy from your previous school.

Find out if it’s on your school record. If so, definitely check off the disciplinary action box (and explain the silly situation in the additional info section), as it would be terrible to not check it off and seem like you’re lying. If it’s NOT on the record, don’t check off the box.

Side note: your GPA seems rather low for Ivies regardless. What’s your class rank?

I checked today, and no, the suspensions did not move over to my record. If then, I wouldn’t need to check off the box? Would the colleges go out of their way to check with my older high school?

My school doesn’t rank, and yeah, my GPA is low for Ivies… what do you think about sub-ivy schools like Berkeley?

You should check the websites of the institutions themselves to find out their policies with relation to this. But those scores definitely suggest that an Ivy League school would be right for you
